A Tipperary farmer who is famous for his Christmas light displays has outdone himself compared to previous years when he took about 80 hours to envelope his tractors with light

Murt Toohey, a farmer from Borrisokane in Tipperary has been decorating his tractors for the past eight years but this year he decided to take his Christmas light decorations to a whole new level.

As you can see fro his video, the two tractors and a trailer are dripping in Christmas lights, with luminous silage coming out the back.

"We were running out of things to put lights on," he wrote when sharing the video, which has around 10k views on Facebook.

Farmer Murt is also a drone enthusiast and filmed the footage using his DJI Phantom drone which he purchased last August.

This year, Mr Toohey is hoping the display will raise some funds for a local boy, Billy Goulding, who was left paralysed after contracting a virus at two-years-old.
"Billy loves tractors especially blue ones,"

"His dad brings him for drives in the summer evenings they go looking for farmer making silage and watch all the machinery working so this is right up Billy’s street."
